1st Grade!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm happy, excited, nervous, anxious, stoked, and the list goes on!!!! I was offered a 1st grade teaching position with Aldine Independent School District...yayayaya!!! It's a great school, and I love the administrative team. I'm going Wednesday to sign my contract and paperwork. I will start a "new teacher" induction program on August 10th. Then, we have a week of teacher in-services, and the kids come on August 24th.

Callie girl will start school on August 17th. I found a great learning, daycare, and fitness facility for her. This learning center has teachers that work with them, and it's 4 babies to 1 teacher. Callie will begin a reading program on Sept. 3rd. I'm really happy, and this facility is only 15 seconds from my home..how convenient. She will go on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays, and my mom will take her on Tuesday and Thursdays.

Well, stay tuned because the next month will be crazy for me! I have lots of shopping to do for my classroom and things to prepare for the kiddos!
