Grotto's and Market Street

Today we went to lunch with my mom and dad to celebrate my mom's birthday! We headed to Market Street and ate at Grotto's. The food was great, and Callie had some meatballs with marinara, bread with a little olive oil and a cookie; she was VERY content! After leaving Grotto's, we sat outside by the waterfall, then headed to Swoozie's and Baby Gap. It rained for about 30 min, so we were stuck inside Baby Gap which wasn't a problem..we just shopped and bought fall clothes! We had a great day! Happy Birthday, mom and mimi, we love you with all our heart. You're the best mom and grandma, and we wish you many more years of health and happiness! God Bless! We love you!

Love,
Jeff, Nicole and Callie Nicole

We had alot of fun on Friday..thanks again for having us over and we always enjoy the yummy Mexican food!

Callie was screaming to get out of Laykin's bed..he wasn't happy either!

Callie and HER "Mimi"

Callie LOVES her Mimi, my mom~! The two of them have a very special relationship and bond. There are times that Callie will want HER Mimi and not me...she cries when Mimi leaves our house or leaves the room!!! Mom, thank you for all that you do...we appreciate it very much and you have a special place in Heaven. We just love and adore you, and ESPECIALLY Callie! She is looking forward to spending the whole week with you starting tomorrow..get ready..rest up, LOL! We love you!

Laminates, Laminates Everywhere!!!

I've spent the last two weeks shopping for my classroom, cutting out laminates, trying to organize and pack it all up, then unload it at school!!! Thanks, Jeff, mom, and dad, for all of your help..I really appreciate it!!!!

Borders for the bulletin boards...I have a jungle safari theme
My safari animals..each group will be called a different safari animal; for example, the elephants and tigers

More laminates to cut out!!!!

Another load..plus, I had another load in my bedroom as well!

Two Rolls

My journey of just being a "mommy" has come to an end, and I begin a new journey tomorrow as a 1st grade teacher. I will have two very demanding, yet very rewarding rolls to fulfill. I'm up for the challenge, and I know God is with me..."I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me and all things are possible with God."

I start with 2 weeks of district in-services tomorrow (Aug. 10th), meet my students and their parents on Friday, Aug. 21st, then my kiddos come on Monday, Aug. 24th. The next two weeks will be BUSY, and I haven't finished my classroom either!!!! It will get done! I will really miss Callie Girl, but I'm blessed that I've had a whole year with her!

Church and Lunch with the fam and friends!

Today was great; me, Jeff, Callie, my mom and dad, Misty and baby Laykin all headed to church this morning for the 9:30 praise and worship service. There is a Small World program at church and Laykin and Callie stayed in the "Crawlers" room; they both were well behaved and did great. After church, we headed to Black Eye Pea for lunch; the babies were cute and had fun together. Mom, Dad, Misty, and Laykin...we had a lovely time today!!!! I'm glad we were all able to get together...looking forward to next Sunday!

After church~on way to Black Eye Pea~~
Laykin, you are a HAM..I love watching you...you crack me up! You were ADORABLE today!
Trying to decide if she will eat her soup or not~~~

The famous toy~~Misty, I'm sorry Callie kept scratching Laykin's arm and trying to take "his" toy from him..he didn't seem to mind too much!

No No = Bad Bad

I fussed Callie yesterday because she was playing with something that she wasn't supposed to be playing with. I looked at her and said "no no." She looked at me and said "bad bad!" I had to hold back from laughing...oh, Callie...again, what will you do next?!?!

Jeff and Papa are proud!

Callie grabbed the remote this morning, turned on the T.V., changed the channel, kept it on the golf channel, raised the volume, then put down the remote...yes, exactly in that order. Wonder who taught her that?!?!? It was PRECIOUS! Oh, Callie...mommy and daddy never know what you will do next!
