I love my cat, Tootsie, and I just adore her sweet hugs, kisses, and when she rubs in between my legs. I got Tootsie in January 2005 after seeing my friend, Suthern's, two cats. I have enjoyed every minute with her; however, I was growing more concerned during my pregnancy on how she would react to Callie. Tootsie is very territorial, but a sweet cat with a hilarious personality. Well, along came Callie, and yes Tootsie was "ignored" some...anyhow, Tootsie loves Callie...she will sniff her, lay by her, and when Callie cries, Tootsie will lay on the floor by the crib in Callie's room....last night we were watching T.V. and Callie was having "blankey time" and Tootsie thought she would join her...it was precious! Toots, I am so happy you love your new sister, Callie. :)))

I can lift up my head

Lifting up my head and using my 2 hands...

It is very hard for me to place Callie on her tummy because she screams and screams. I know how important it is to have some "tummy time" daily, so we try a little each day. She lasted about 10 min on her tummy, but was able to lift her head and look around! GO, CALLIE!! I was hoping she would roll over, but that is for another time. She ended up on her back (of course), and started discovering her feet. It was toooo cute...she was grunting so loud because she was trying to grab her feet. She discovered two new skills today, and I am so proud of her. Mommy loves you, Callie girl! Way to go! :)

That was fun!

Callie girl loves the disney station. Some of her favorite shows are: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, My Friends Tigger and Pooh, Little Einsteins, Handy Mandy, and Higglytown Hereos. This morning she was watching Higglytown Heroes and was amazed! Great passing time for her, and then I can get some things done!!! Love it!

I put Callie in her big girl chair today while she read her Little Friends play book. She is trying so hard to stay sitting up in her chair, but she falls to the side....she gets frustrated, then laughs out loud. It's okay, Cal, you are doing a great job! Mommy is so proud of you..keep up the good work!

Revisiting her swing

It isn't so bad, mommy!

Callie loved her swing!! Then one day, she hated it, and I could'nt get her to go back in her swing. I loved the swing too, because Callie is a reflux and colic baby, so it always soothed and calmed her. Well, today we revisited our swing during one of our play activities. At first she screamed, but then she did fine. It lasted for about 15 min, then she was "itching" to get out.

Jeff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG...everyday when I look at her, I see Jeff. I took these pics last night (while it was snowing), and I was amazed at how much she looks like her daddy! Great job, Jeff!!!
