Sick baby...

It all started on Monday....I cleaned alot of "gunk" from her nose, and she was sneezing and coughing; no fever though. Then, she woke up screaming several times Monday night, which is unlike her. On Tuesday morning, she seemed a little better, but still had alot of "gunk" coming from her nose, but again, no fever. Well, last night she woke up every hour crying...she could hardly breathe because she was so conjested...my heart ached.....all I could do was hold and rock her. This morning when she woke up, her nose was running like a faucet...I cleaned it out, took her temp (no fever), gave her reflux medicine and tried to feed her...she only took 2 oz and 1 tablespoon of cereal~~VERY unlike her, then about 30 minutes later, she fell asleep in my arms....oh, no...something isn't right with the Cal girl. I called the doctor 1st thing this a.m. and I got her in for an appt. The doctor's office was packed, you can about imagine..with RSV season, there were lots of sick babies and kiddos right now!!! The Dr. said she has a really nasty cold, but nothing in her lungs, throat, or ears..thank goodness!!!!! I need to watch her over the next several days to make sure her symptoms don't change or get worse, and I will need to bring her back in if she starts to run a fever. When we came home this afternoon, I was able to get 7 oz and some sweet potatoes down, and she slept for about an hour....we are staying inside where it's nice and warm until she gets better!

Callie Nicole over the last 5 months...

Hey, my sweet little angel~~today you turned 5 months~~these have been the BEST 5 months of our lives. From the moment we met you, we fell in love with you...I love your "cheerleading" cry, your adorable little nose, the way you roll your tongue, your cute little dimples, feet, toes, hands, and fingers...I just love everything about you. You have brought a tremendous amount of joy to your daddy and me~~you have REALLY changed over the last 5 months...we think you get cuter by the minute~~I love the way you look at me, touch my face, and pull it toward you...it warms my heart and I just melt..I love the way you greet your daddy every night with a smile the size of Texas, and a laugh that is hysterical. You are our special miracle from God, and we thank HIM everyday for you...what a beautiful blessing~~I know mommy's pregnancy was very rocky, but I hung in there, and with your help, the angels, and God..we came out just fine...we love you, baby...you are the apple of our eyes!

It's hard to believe that 5 months ago today, we welcomed our little angel into this world. Callie, we love you, honey, you're the BEST blessing that we've ever received.

Superbowl Sunday 2009

Last night we went to Chris and Heidi's house to watch the Superbowl...Chris and Heidi just welcomed a little boy, Carter Mason, on January 7th. Callie was anxious to hang out with boyfriend #2..Callie's 1st boyfriend is, Laykin, which is Misty and Jason's son-Laykin is 5 days older than Callie...we were excited to get the babies together last night, munch on some finger foods and watch some football!!! Callie dressed in a Valentine's outfit and brought a gift for Carter and Laykin with a card asking them to be her Valentine. Poor little Callie...they turned her down...they said NOOOOOOOOO~! Minnie Mouse

Callie is crazy about Mickey Mouse Clubhouse...she watches that show on Disney everyday...she loves Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, and all the Disney characters. Well, my mom and I took Callie girl shopping today, and we made our way to the Disney Store...we just had to get her these Minnie Mouse stuffed animals..they were too cute and she went nuts in the store for them...here is a pic of Callie with her new best friend, Minnie Mouse!!!!

The Last Few Days...

Things have been really busy in our household...I am preparing to head back to work next week, so I had a meeting with the HR Dept. on Monday and a training orientation today.
I will be working for Conroe Independent School District (Conroe, TX/The Woodlands, TX), and I will be teaching 3 days / week (Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday) in grades Pre-K-4th. Also, we have been busy looking for a place to live, taking care of the Callie girl, working out, dieting, and just everyday hoorah!!! I haven't had any free time to blog, so I am "catching up" right now...here are a few pictures of Cal girl from the last several days...she is a complete HAM...she is laughing out loud, goes hysterical when she sees me or Jeff, and she LOVES when you read her books....oh, I'm going to miss her when I go back to work next week!! :(

Oh, my sweetie~~~~ I just love you with all my heart!!!! We are so thrilled for you, Scottie, Landon, and Kel!!!! Congratulations to all of you, you are in my thoughts and prayers daily, and I am ready to help you through these next 9-9 1/2 months like you helped me!!!! I can't believe there will be another "little LeBlanc" running around...I just wished we lived in the same city..I miss you sooooooooooo much...thank God for texts, phone calls, myspace, facebook, and blogs! Take care of yourself...love you bunches! Oh, when you held Callie at Thanksgiving...you were thinking "no more" babies..yup..God always has a "bigger plan" for us..God Bless, sweetie p toot~~~I am so blessed to have you as my friend...you are so dear and special to me..I love you!
