It is always a tradition in our family to go out to eat for a nice dinner on Christmas Eve, then return home to exchange gifts and get ready for HO HO! This year, we had a "new addition" to our family to accompany us on our dinner extravaganza - yes, Ms. Callie Nicole. At first the evening started out a little rocky...Ms. Callie was woken up from her nap, I dressed her in a beautiful dress, one that she would call ridiculous, uncomfortable, and hot, she was cranky, hungry, and we deviated from her routine. All of the above "stirred the pot" for an irritable baby in the restaurant. However, we managed to get through - many thanks to my mom and dad for their help. After leaving our steak dinner, we took the party to our home to exchange gifts and let Callie girl play in her diaper and sleep sack (plus, she needed to head to bed because HO HO was coming bright and early in the A.M.)! We had a lovely Christmas Eve, and the best part was spending the evening with our brand new baby girl~~~she is a little angel! We love you, Callie!
