Yes, the title says it all!!!!! Jeff and I were exhausted last night and crawled into bed around 8:30 p.m.; Ms. Callie Nicole was in bed at 7:30 (her normal bedtime). Now, Callie has been sleeping through the night since she was 6 weeks old, so we were "caught completely off guard" when we heard her "crying and stirring" at 1 a.m. this morning!!! The crying was a "scared" cry; not, I am hungry or need a diaper change cry, nor would I expect her to be hungry at 1 a.m. because it has been a few months since she has had a bottle at 1 or 2 a.m. I peeked in her room and she was sleeping just in "an active form." My observation: the monster got her in a dream, but then the angel swooped down to protect her because she was back sleeping about 5 min's later. Whew..all is okay, so I can crawl back in bed!! I have 5 1/2- 6 hrs left until wake time at 6:30- 7 a.m. Yeah, right!!! 3:30 a.m. - Callie is screaming - what, what?!?! Now, this was a change my diaper, my tummy hurts, I maybe a little hungry, or I just don't know what' wrong scream!! I rushed to her room and when she saw me, she smiled. I picked her up, checked her entire body to see if anything was wrong, took her temp (no fever), changed her diaper, then put her back in her sleep sack with her nuk and rocked her for a few minutes with some soft music..NOPE..didn't work..she was still crying! Okay, let me try some leg exercises since she could have trapped gas, fix a small bottle of soy formula, and give her some mylicon..yup..that worked...my baby had a little belly ache and was hungry...she went right back to sleep and slept until 7:30 a.m. Now, Ms. Callie, we
ARE NOT making a habit of this!!! Anyhow, she is doing great this morning...playing, laughing, cooing, watching Handy Mandy on Disney, and just ate a bowl of rice cereal and drank 6 oz of formula!!!
